  1. Hi Ali G We rename all our Archived teams as part of the archiving process, to avoid the issue you are having. So for example, "Class-10yx1" will be renamed to "Arhived_Class-10yx1". Hope this helps. Leon
  2. I have set so that none of the computers are placed into a sleep/hibernation state via GPO. We found this to cause havoc on GPO application so we disabled it domain wide. I have been thinking whether the conditions are still not being met as the user is logging off before the AC is plugged in. Therefore not calling the task? But even thinking that it still doesn't when its on AC. hmmm? :s
  3. Hi Guys, I am new here and think the forum is great. You have helped me out many times in the past, so I wonder if you can help me along with this. We have over 300 laptops in school and we require them to shutdown when they are placed on charge back in the cabinets. I have set up a GPO to shutdown when the lid is closed and plugged in but this doesn't work. It seems to only trigger a shutdown when it has been plugged in and then the lid closed not if the lid is closed prior to being plugged in. I then decided to take a look at 'task scheduler' to trigger a task at disconnection of a user session with connection from local computer option chosen. The task would start 'shutdown /s /f' with the condition that the computer is on AC power. This task has a delay of 2 minutes. So far I have been unable to get this to work with or without AC plugged in. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Leon
