I have a machine which auto logs on and then a script which automatically plays a playlist fullscreen in windows media player. start wmplayer "C:\Tim Peake Playlist.wpl" /fullscreen You could set the desired video to be on a network share and update said video. I used to use powerpoint and then export as a video. Currently we have a playlist of Tim Peake vids on.

I do like that carbon stuff... makes it look sleek! Gonna look at different options once we have the cab together and I know exactly how big it is. Think we need to buy a dremel tool for the t-molding groove too.... I really do want it to look the biz.

Use WDS to upload the image? Otherwise something like Acronis is also good. I use virtual machines because I don't have enough power sockets / network sockets / space for physical machines

Righty... I've got an image I'm happy with. It takes 1:32 for initial logon. 4 seconds for subsequent. 35 seconds after reboot. What are your times and how did you get them down? I'm pretty sure I've got the correct GPOs set for the initial logon thing... but maybe not.

I started using that language ironically and now it's part of my daily vocab. Which is unfortunate, because I am definitely old enough to know better.

Piece of ****... knew I shouldn't have bothered getting it mounted, but it was sat on the floor in my office taking up space and I'm not ready for a recycling collection just yet..... Hah! I put my e-mails up on it, but then the screen is so poor I couldn't really read them o.O

Hurray! So the resolution I needed to fit the screen of this 'Mirai' 27" TV? 1766 x 1014.... OF COURSE!

I just ran it in Windows, rebooted and now the new driver has installed now to try and get this damn screen on the right aspect!

I downloaded the newest driver yesterday and I'm just trying to install it, but it keeps failing. On my 3rd attempt now having rebooted and selected clean install!

Hahahah! Yeah my machine is still a beast. Don't think I've properly tested that graphics card yet though

I think it is going to be the overscan setting, but my nvidia control panel won't open!!! Silly computer. I'll see if there are other drivers.

Still cuts off slightly around the edges with that resolution... all monitors have the "Generic PnP" driver... should I look into changing this? I'm on an Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 so I'll check the settings in there too thanks!

Totally Devastated.

I've recently added a fairly old 27" TV to the wall of my office and plugged it into my machine using the last available port - DVI. I have a DVI - HDMI cable running the the TV, but the resolution isn't right. The screen is "HD Ready" which suggests to me it's 720p. I've tried setting the resolution to this but it doesn't change. Currently it's set to 1920 x 1080 and it displays, but slightly cut off around the edges. If I change it to 1280 x 720 it is still cut off around the edges. Is it because I'm using a DVI - HDMI cable? I might swap the cable into one of my better monitors and have VGA to this worse screen... WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

My machine is pitiful in comparison now... TOTES DEVO.
