The problem is all the laptops trolleys are in departments so staff hand them out when they see fit so currently nothing goes through us. Not sure how we could implement a way to have them go through us either without having 150+ laptops sitting in out office.

My Lovely People, I work in a school. We have 13 laptop trolleys all holding 15 laptops each. We have an issue with students pulling keys off the keyboard and damage to the casing of each laptop and the chargers. I've tried to roll out documentation (Spreadsheet with four columns 'Laptop Name', 'Student Name', 'Checked in/out' and 'Damage/Issues') for Teachers and other members of staff to fill out when laptops are handed out but it never gets filled in. Although to me this would be classroom management issue it's fallen on good old IT support to find and roll out a solution. Has anyone implemented anything similar to this and had results?

Just wondering if anyone has done the EC-Council CHFI course? What did you think of it what would you need to know before looking at taking it? Caught my eye a while back and wanting to give it a go just not sure what qualifications I should get before I start reading into it?

So long as the parents have signed an agreement for there children to be filmed I can't see the issue. We have had the IRIS cameras pointed at certain students before and but support have recorded it and passed it straight on to a senior member of staff to view. The only time it will get messy is if you haven't got the parents permission to film in school.

I may be a little late with this, BUT... blue tack wont work on the sensors, try putting a pen in the tray? The bottom right of the screen you should have a SMART icon, right click this and open up the control panel or 'Smart Settings' then SMART Hardware settings, have a look at the pen options and see if there is anything there that may be worth changing?

Not sure if this will work 100% but its always worth a try. Let me know if this works??

Ahh if I have another Student OR Teacher come to me telling me that the Internet is not working because of MyMaths, I'm going to go over and fix it myself!! -.-
