Hello
We have Windows 2003 Servers and Some Vista Clients. When I use my Vista client to browse all our users folders which are stored on our 2003server e.g START RUN \\servername\staffareas
Some of the folders have been relabled "Downloads" or "Documents" instead of the users's name so I can't actually see whos folder I am looking at.
When I browse these folders directly on my server, it seems fine... each folder is named according to the user. - eg. \\SERVERNAME\STAFFAREAS\smith-a
Help
PLEASE SEE ATTACHED FILE FOR SCREEN SHOTS
I noticed some peopel suggesting that the hidden desktop.ini might be the reason... but when I delete this file out of a home folder... it reappears when they log back on and the problem comes back. I have even made the file read only.. but it does not fix the problem:eek:
