Hi, We have been experiencing sims problems and advised to run the indexing patch....Ran the patch, never finished and received an error ( I don't know what the error was as I was never there to see it) We can no-longer login to sims with an error stating :- "unable to set application role" Any Ideas ??? Run a Windows Update on the affected machine via Internet Explorer - Tools | Windows Update 2. Uninstall SIMS Infrastructure via Add/Remove Programs 3. Install SIMS Infrastructure by running e.g. S:\SIMS\SETUPS\SimsInfrastructureSetup.exe 4. Locate the SIMS .net folder and rename this to SIMSold. 5. Run SIMSApplicationSetup.exe Any ideas please...
