Im happy to begin at the bottom of the ladder. Ive considering a different career change altogether but that would be throwing away all my experience.

Hi All, I need to encrypt the hard drives of 20 staff laptops asap, I cant use bitlocker because the laptops don't have the TPM chip for full encryption, and as some of the laptops are 5 years old when I try to encrypt using Veracrypt it shows an error saying some sectors are unreadable it trys to write 0 to them sectors but it doesn't get any further along. Have also tried Compusec Free software but doesn't install and just says check log. Also tried using another program but it wasn't compatible with UEFI bios/ hard drives. Trying chkdsk now with /f and /r then veracrypt again but not having much confidence. Anymore further ideas I can try as I'm aware the deadline is approaching quickly! Thanks in advance Danny

"you do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Logon as a administrator and then retry the installation" The machine is not part of a domain or workgroup and the file is a .msi file . The machine only has one user account on it with admin rights when i right click there is no run as administrator option and create a shortcut and then go into properties then run as admininistrator section is greyed out. anyone any ideas? Thanks is advance Danny

Good Afternoon All, We have an ipad 3 and weould like to use the dictation feature which works fine on home broadband but in school it doesnt. The ipad can get onto the internet fine in school and has the correct proxy setting etc. Ive spoke to our ISP and they want to know which ports to open and the destination ip to allow the dictation feature to work. Does anyone know how to find this out, ive tried googling and found this info about different ports but none about the ip. Well known TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products Regards, Danny
