By contents you mean the results of each submitted form? If so, there are a few addons which can do this. I forget which one we are using, I think it is called Form Notify and I'm sure you can heavily configure it and it's free.

Unable to get through to Inventry support - 20mins of being on hold and I gave up. Their support has really gone down the pan!

Cloud 3CX SMTP Email setup via Google servers
timbo343 replied to timbo343's topic in Cloud Services
It's Google SMTP rather than MS. -
I'm reaching out to see if anyone else that uses the cloud 3CX platform with Google SMTP is having an issue. We have had to reset the details on the service account that we use for 3CX notifications along with the app password. Trying to input the new details into 3CX and send a test email, we are presented with: "5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted. For more information, go to 5.7.8 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=BadCredentials ffacd0b85a97d-482b14d05a6sm13005494f8f.35 - gsmtp" The account we use has been tested on our MFDs to make sure the account works with the app password set - sending scanned documents with the same account work on our MFDs yet for some reason 3CX will not accept the username and password for sending emails. Is this a recent bug with 3CX? We didn't have this problem when we first started using the cloud 3CX platform.

Thanks for the replies. @cw80 that hasn't really made much of a difference after setting up one PC, using Tablet PC Settings. pressing Enter to select the Interactive Screen and tapping on the screen to activate it. It seems that we still need to run setup from Tablet PC Settings. @Rob_D Ours are to be set as the secondary monitor and only by going through the Tablet PC Settings setting in Control Panel seems to be the only way we can activate the touch on that particular screen without it mirroring on the monitor on the teacher's desk. @robyholmes That did cross my mind that it would be id specific to each particular PC.

Does anyone know of a central / en-mass way to configure an Interactive Screen as a second monitor for touch to be enabled via registry settings or scripts? It seems that the only way to get this to work is via the "tablet pc settings" and I'm not even sure if that is only via local profiles / current user rather than applied to the whole PC. As we block access to Control Panel it's going to be a pain having users set this each time they use a different interactive screen setup.

WSUS woes - some client machines not getting updates
timbo343 replied to timbo343's topic in Enterprise Software
Thanks for the replies guys. I think i've sorted it after revewing the GPO settings. -
After pushing out a new image to a room of machines, we are finding that in a room a 30 machines, some are downloading the updates from thw WSUS server and others are checking in to the WSUS server but saying there are no updates to download, yet all machines are checking in / reporting to the WSUS server. In the room, all the machines are exactly the same, Group Policy is applying as it should. I've looked in the registry of the affected machines and noticed under HKLM \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Windows Update there is a missing registry entry called traceID. TraceID is showing on the machines that are successfully pulling down updates from the WSUS server but missing from the troublesome machines. We have tried re-imagining the affected machines yet this does not work, it is like there is an issue with the WSUS server. We have tried to remove the client machines from the WSUS server, tried the clean up options, all has no effect. Anyone seen this issue before and what was the fix to resolve it?

KCSIE 2026 - Filtering & Monitoring Reviews
timbo343 replied to fiza's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I was asked to do this the other year with our DSL and just did some random tests with expectations but you would have thought now that the DSL gets Smoothwall alerts, Impero alerts and Smoothwall Monitor alerts, they would have all the tests with what the outcomes are without the need for IT Support to get involved -
We had the exact same issue. We contacted Inventry and they sorted it out. The next issue was the Scan Codes against the users were being erased after 10 mins of assigning a scan code.
-
Working now.
-
Gah! if you were more "up north" we would have had the OPS PCs out of them.
-
Impero are still around, they have provided me a quote 👍🏻👍🏻
-
I've been trying to contact Impero for the last few days to ask for a requote on our license however no one is answering the phones nor replying to emails. Has anyone else has this issue? If Impero are on the forum, can you advise how to contact someone in sales please.

If it wasn't for updating last night Smoothwall wouldn't have come into the equation 😂🙃. It did seem very coincidental though. .. and the finger shouldn't always point to Smoothwall but given how everything is "cloud hosted" and the smoothwall is ultimately the gateway for a lot of schools, unfortunately Smoothwall is the first to be fired at and the tin hats to be worn 😁😂. The smoothwalls have been rock solid as of late though - i hope i've not jinx'd it now.

We are running Impero EdPro, the onpremise version and today we are unable to use the software as the sofware is stating that it's not licensed (yet it is) and imperosoftware.com is unable to be contacted. When we try to register the license, we get a message stating that the license has already been activated. When we try the "check internet connection" it reports imperosoftware.com is unreachable.

i'm after List View as default. I've downloaded the latest ADMX files and can now see "Hide Category view in the Start Menu" in group policy. Looks like the registry being changed is Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer HideCategoryView = 1 (DWORD). This turns the start menu apps into the grid view 😒 It is possible to get this to work on the fly by changing the registry remotely and the start menu changes once the registry has been edited. Update - think i'm just going to have to live with the grid view - users will get used to it. Someone on Reddit has said the same thing: I found the User setting didn't work, instead the computer setting works a treat, even with custom start layouts.

Having seen the article from James Rankin https://james-rankin.com/articles/quickpost-windows-11-start-menu-reverts-to-category-view-after-group-policy-refresh/ about the start menu issues, I would have a look to see how this would affect us. It appears that if we don't configure anything to do with the startmenu / taskbar, the Category view is shown as default which really is a bit of a pain and it would be great to have the List view a default. There has been comments on other sites about using the following: However, setting any of these settings causes the category view or list view to be removed which is far from ideal. Is anyone able to offer a way on how to set the List view in the new June 2026 start menu rather than having category view?
