At just one of the schools we support, just one of the users reports this odd issue: When completing registers, users can view the range of attendance codes either by clicking on the Codes button on the toolbar, or else right-clicking in a register cell and choosing Display Codes... just one of our users reports that this doesn't work. It must be an individual work-station or user setting but I don't know which! Any ideas??

A simple solution, I completely overlooked!! Thanks :-), EDIT: although in actual fact, there's three tick-boxes and I removed the pre-populated ticks from all three and then clicked Yes which did the trick. ;-)

Can anyone remind me how to disable the Ampark splash screen that pops up every time any user enters the assessment area in SIMS? We use our own assessment resources so the repeated invitation to download Capita's resources is a (slight) nuisance and everyone always closes the splash screen, so it'd be great if it didn't appear in the first place!

Thanks - some elements were missing, got them now. :-)

Does anyone know which of the several executables stored in the Setups folder, installs the chm help files?

At home I use a Virgin SuperHub AKA Netgear VMDG480 - any problem with putting the psu on a timer, so that it turns off overnight? All my devices are set to not update automatically and are (probably) shut down when I'm tucked up in bed...

Just to get you started, (which is another way of saying, 'I don't know'...) I would start be going to the properties of the form you're using and then do something with one of the Event properties for the combo box used to select the Status - there's one of interest - On Exit, so your code should say something like, "on exiting this control, check to see if the contents are a, then do x, if b do y..." sorry I can't help with the code - Google is your friend! -
It's an advert - 'nuff said... BTW- thnx for that joke, witch - v. funny!

Yikes! interesting... I'll give that a try when I have a spare mo' - I've tried the Index function which still needs manual edits but less of them! Cheers for the idea!

In a spreadsheet I want to reference other cells in blocks of 4 rows - see below. How do I copy the references, so that I don't have to type them all in by hand? If I try a simple copy/paste it does this...
