My experience of school website providers has been only with E4 education as they initial developed our site. the previous ict guy was terrible and allowed them to mess up our site and then continually call us to try and sort it out 6 months after he had left!....what a nightmare. anyone who has come across them please be sure before you go any further. I actually still believe to this day they literally have one person who is still (probably) providing support to their schools!

please can someone point us in the right direction for moodle content, maybe open source games?

yes schoolanywhere seem very good and they offer a complete package which is at good price.

i have also been emailed about mathsanywhere its the same concept but maths, had a go and its great fun on our site now!!

in our school there's opposition to change in ICT which a bet you will agree must come about with the governments agenda, spellanywhere is something which will ease them into ICT in our school. My colleague says spellanywhere quoted £100, i knew it was something small!

im not sure why dont you ask them on their site. its not very much as keith has mentioned in his blog

ok cybernerd but you are missing the point here. my class are more than happy to use the school website to do their spelling tests at home, and the fact that our teachers can submit tests is really appealing. moving away from moodle, i think that this tool will excite the children, and others on our website at home and anywhere therefore increasing my stat count on the website. For the cost which they have quoted it seems very reasonable.

yes webman, but as i say we have spent that money on IWB's and regret it now!

IWB dosent integrate into our website and moodle will be password protected and our children find spellanywhere much easier to use. have a look at this live link i have seen, its fabulous click on spelling tests http://www.stjosephs.ngfl.ac.uk

Has anyone seen the recent post on keith ansell's ICT blog, its about the spelling tests online that ive found. please see...http://keithprimaryict.blogspot.com/ i'm with keith here, i think the spelling tests on spellanywhere are fabulous and if we didnt spend all our cash on whiteboards we would be setting it up asap! ;(

most schools use webanywhere in our area too. however some schools develope their own but alot of the time look cheap
