I would not bother mentioning it to my NM and ICT coordinator. My advice or opinion is never appreciated and ignored. But its something i have looked ot for a wee while and I would implement it.

I do it 30 minutes before i leave work. Preventive maintenance is better than having to take the whole thing down phone the warranty people then package it to send off then wait a week or longer, then put it back up. 2-3 minutes is better than 10 minutes fanny arround and teacher doing with out projector for a week. doesnt take much time really... does it

it dosent take long imo.last week of the month, i will do 10 a day. i dont use compressed air, it sometimes can make the dust and fluff go damp making it stick more. I use lung power, for that reason why i only do 10 a day. I did once do them all in 1 afternoon and it sent me a little lite headed

ok quick way to solve this is to do the following start | control panel | network connections | double click your internet connection |click properties | select the Advanced tab | click windows firewall settings | select the advanced tab | click restore defaults | click yes that should restore you firewall back normal. any programs you use that need net access will prompt windows firewall to pop up a message asking if you would like to enable access for that program.

I did give my mobile number to a member of staff before the holidays. I built him a PC and said any probs give me a ring and i will talk you through it. turned out he didnt have any problems but hey guess what, he freely handed my mobile number out to other members of staff. Didnt know this till another staff member during morning staffroom meeting said she was gona ring me that night to talk her through a problem on her machine. I told her to never ring me out of school hours and to delet my number. and then proceded to lay down the law to the geezer that gave my number out.

Na, there is a NM. I always clean them every month. Just some of them were starting to go yellow. didnt fancy sending them off to Promethean and paying extreme prices. sorry promethean, but your not cheap.

Hmm bet you havent got 36 projectors like me then 36 projectors in cages all padlocked and then security locked in place? Ours are padlocked on to the bracket, then the cage is locked, we have a set of keys for every single projector and bracket. And promethean say to clean the projectors at least once a month.
