Hi @nickbro I am not evanished, I am just terriply busy with other business (DHCP and migration of email system). we mapped a folder with 80 pictures of approx. 13 MB each and we noticed it takes a long time to show the icons (the processors on the server hosting hap are @98% for a while). would it be possible to speed up the process ( maybe to use the thumb.db file is present or other tricks)? thanks again for your wonderful work Gian

dear Nick, I know that probably we are running to much but we are trying HAP on android. here is our experience. background client: Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread on samsung galaxy tab P1000 . Using default browser. background server: hap 7.8, windows authentication, basic authentication, win 2008 r2, IIS 7.5 It runs hap basic interface quite smoothly, we can log in, browse files and do almost everything. We start the download but then it says download failure.

Near @nickbro, I have change web.config and hapconfig.xml () I have tried approx. 50 different connectionstrings but none of them worked. I need some guidance to enable Some basic Web Events logged into a database I have created a database called "hap-logging" on a different server called "server-sql.domain.com" which has SQL 2005 installed I run "hap.sql" so now I have 2 tables on "hap-logging" What should I add/modify now (please give me an example) ? many thanks as usual Gian

@nickbro 1) thanks for your wonderful system. 2) I have problems installing hap quota service on a win2008 fileserver with several networkcards and IPs. When I start the service it tells me that the port is not available. I check with "netstat -an |find /i "listening" and port 8010 and 8011 are NOT used by anything. any advice? thanks

just a followup to myself :-) i have been able to fix: " Cannot open log for source 'Home Access Plus+'. You may not have write access." with this Event Log Write access under ASP.NET - Windows Security have a nice day. and thanks again to @nickbro
