Hi, ive been approached by SLT for advice on a central record system for children at risk - does anyone have any system for this already in place?

Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial for writing Cmis form reports? Im trying to create attendance certificates for 100% attendance - I have a list report that when its run gives me just the students with 100% attendance, Id like to create a form from that list. There is a form 'Wise Up On Attendance letter' report that does something similar but it generates the form on attendance % so it will generate forms for children who are not 100% - ive tried taking out the other AttLevel = but generates blank reports for the children who do not have AttLevel = 5

Hi guys, Ive just moved to a new school and been approached by their DCPO who has been told by ofsted the school needs to move towards keeping their child protection incident forms electronically. So my question is... how do you do yours? is there a cmis module?

Ive got this up and running using pop3 for authentication, however I cant for the life of me find where you assign admin rights to users. Once I change authentication from config to pop3 it fails to recognise the admin user that is set up in the config..... Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks .................... never mind found it.

im using it on .co.uk with Birmingham, its not all covered but if you hold the peg man over the map the areas with street view turn blue.

get a copy of installrite, and a copy of virtual PC ( both free) install a clean copy of xp on your virtual pc,(assuming your network is still XP) install installrite, follow the instructions to install your software and make anychanges you need to such as serial no. / path etc and create a snapshot, you will be left with an exe that you can then run from the login script i.e Start \\servername\sharename\myfirstsnapshot.exe -
break up for the summer.....?? is that where your contracted and paid term time only but have to come in for odd days over the six weeks for "compulsory" training???

worked with netware at college of cakes in brum up to this time last year, not sure if they have moved over to AD yet, but it was on the cards. Im now waiting to hear from a school advertising for a tech thats got a 4.11 network. Fingers crossed there wont be too many applicants that have 9 years expericence with Novell

best one i have is a cupboard in the gents loo - im female another is under some stairs, I just make it in without bending but then im 5'2" however if i put on any weight theres no way im going to be able to carry on squeezing through the 10" gap between 2 workbenches to get in.

Its £18,450 - £20,235 pro rata term time only, dont get me wrong im quite happy in 1+1 sessions or drop-in workshops showing people the basics of how to use their computer, software etc. But Id expect to be given some training before being expected to 'develop and deliver', the job spec has no mention of teaching/training experience or qualifiacations staff training and development in ICT is also listed on the job spec higher up, so thats already in there.
-
So basically I need to ask if they are willing to send me on a teaching adult learners course for the community stuff, as they have not listed that in the job spec? I thought it was the role of the IT co-or to 'develop' IT and training courses?

Hi all, Im just looking at a job speck for an ICT tech position im applying for, and there are a couple of points that im not sure on. 1. Developing and delivering ICT courses for the local community or specific groups of pupils as and when required 2. Developing a mentoring system for NQT's and trainees. In regards to 1. I thought legislation had changed this year so that you needed to hold a qualification in delivering training to adult learners to be able to teach ICT to adults, and that it had always been the case in regards to children. How would you handle this. as for 2. I haven't a clue what they are looking for here, are they just wanting someone to 'babysit' NVQ's till they get a fair grasp on the IT equipment and software?

does it look any better if you export to word from publisher then save as html ?
