@GrumbleDook You're right, definitely part of the learning experience, and the iPad is a powerful device. On the creative side of things, I'm still a big fan of A3 card and different coloured pens! But there's room for it all.

That hyfeno link doesn't show how to unlock the Nokia C3 for free. Whatever you do, you'll need a network unlock code. In some cases, you can get that code for free. For example if you're on a Vodafone or O2 contract, just call them up and they'll usually give you the code. Otherwise, you do have to purchase the code, either from the network directly or you can use a code website - this is a UK code website where you can unlock the C3

CON: Becomes a lot less effective if kids are sharing. They're not really that collaborative and get very confused by multiple hand. But if you have the budget PRO: Fads are great for engagement on difficult topics, even if they are fads.

Definitely agree with the battery life issue, but I just got a second charger so I charge it at work and at home. It's worth it for all the different facilities from having GPS and WiFi on allt he time.
