I would look at the file permissions that you hav eon the Limesurvey directory. I installed a limesurvey a while back and never had any problems other than with file permissions.

I have found in the past the best way of doing the link was to put it in an HTML block and hand coding the link in HTML.

You could combine a little bit of CSS hiding of an image that changes the CSS to move it across the screen when someone hovers over it. Have an example setup at http://davegill.is-a-geek.net/megamenu/mega.html. If you leave off the mega.html you will be able to access the files.

Always been a GNOME user. but have started to just use the BASH shell as most of my work is remote. Got some sixth form pupils doing the same thing to compile programs..
