  1. I had not used a FQDN to authenticate myself when updating devices, agents are now installing to the devices, there are one or two that are not co-operating, I shall see if its a local firewall issue. I really want this to work Many thanks Sir.
  2. I too am having issues with the same release of Solus3 and am trying to upgrade to the new new Summer release, we are having issues with 'The remote machine cannot be contacted' and 'Access denied to the remote machine' The firewalls are all off and WMI is enabled on the PC's, they are new builds in our new domain. We cannot even install the agent manually with our domain admins accounts, the service refuses to start. I have a call with Capita
  3. We are going to be migrating to a new domain over the Summer as well. The SIMS server is a 2008 R2 member server on a MS Hyper V image and has SQL running on it as well. All we want to do is join it to the new domain, no other changes are required. I am told by our friends at Capita that all we need to do is to remove the server from the old domain and then join it to the new domain, simples.
  4. After our Summer upgrade In Touch is now broken as well. Its seems to be a .NET 4 thing, 'the callback service cannot be contacted' support is also scratching their heads Lol :-)
  5. My blood pressure still hasn't leveled out after our recent Summer upgrade, I think I will give these releases a wide berth for some time. As for my Solus3 experiences, there isn't enough room on this forum to catalog the pain I encountered a few months back. Lets hope the new, new release actually works as we are all going to be using it as Solos2 could well be binned next year.
  6. I feel your pain, I wasted about a month of my life wrestling with Solus 3 over last Summer. Your experience seems to be similar to mine. Solus 2 is going to be canned possibly next year, so I hope that '3' is going to eventually do what it says on the tin, otherwise we are all going to be right in it.
  7. 'Overall, our CC4 experience has been a rather good one.' The Gods must look down favourably on you ;-)
  8. Best advice would be to 'upgrade' to a vanilla network, we are on CC4, there always seems to be something that is broken, its quite a nightmare sometimes.
  9. It seems the Summer 2011 release will be the end of July-1st week of August, that's what a bod at Capita just told me
