This really depends on how you want to impliment hyper-v, how critical your servers are and what impact they have if server fails. the servers will easily run fine in hyper-v setup. but for a more critical setup i would suggets san setup with failer over clustering and 2 or more physical servers, failover clustering on hyper-v is really good and works great. have an entire site seup with hyper-v failover clustering with san and if a box falls over they all migrate to other avaliable servers as soon as the downed box comes back online they all migrate back onto its origial host if you set it up that way. great to watch when it happens and means no downtime aslong as you spec enough hosts to physical serves

Sims SLG is not currently supporting sharepoint 2010, however they are deveolping this an hope to have it released in the autum release of sims. i know this because they are coming in to install our slg tomorrow

check your settings on IIS if your able to conect then it is more than likely an IIS issue im not at home where my exchange 2007 resides but when i am i will take a look at the permissons and let u know

ive had to down scale my servers i use to have a load of compaq proliants the old 1s 2 x 4u used as domain controller and file shares had a 4u disk array and 3x 2u for web and other bits all nicely rakced in a dell half height rack now im tied down to a hp ml 110 and virtual servers tho i have a dell 1u for web, also i have a smoothbox, media center, 3 laptops, cisco 2600 router, 2x gb netgear switches, linksys modem and AP tho changin soon you can never hav too much equipment

yea thats exactly what i ment.. just with having loads of students if one comes saying it was called "mywork" im sure there would be several others named that aswell. so far the app works great and would great if you were able to implement at later date.

Hi, im loving the new template but struggling with getting the extended menu with son of suckerfish template has any1 else managed to do this, its for dropdown menus, i can get it working with just the extended menu but i really require the template version. any help is great how about implementing this into the next version i know dropdown menus would help many!

thanks rush tech. was after the template layout before. got it just perfect now. bit of a change in the admin layout in 1.5 but its all looking good now.. Thanks again for all your help.

I have just downloaded and installed the new 1.5 version using the simple 1.5 i cant get any of the nice features like in the demo site. please help im gona have a bigger play later on.

love the app.. but would be handier in schools if it kept the file structure that the file moved was from. incase users actually require the file.

how do you guys store the information about software currently we have it all over the place and really need a decent database or somthing that we can use to catalogue the software / licence code and locations stored does any1 have any ideas or premade code ? harmless

if you able to migrate to a new server that would be the ideal sitution that way no data will be lost and u always have a backup easily accessible. but thats prob not an option.. make sure your backups are complete and verify them before anything else. find out all the shares that are present and needed other than that good luck!

just create a cvs and then import using a simple script with %username% for the profile path ending ect.. v.simple and its free if you have to time to create the script.

hi im struggling with getting this off the ground.. started a new job a at high school and ive stumbled across this and fort it would be good to have instead of just vnc.. i managed to get it so that teachers can control and view machines but i need to function of the admins being able to contorl teachers and i cant get the keys bit working properly.. any suggestions? harmless
