Thanks, do you still use cover in T4? That is my problem - our cover manager likes to do cover in T4 first because it is so quick and the boss likes the noticeboard print better than the print from Cover 7, and will transfer in Cover 7 later.

One of our network manager is moving everything to virtual servers, do I need to nervous or it this a good idea?

I was talking to Dave Andrews (Capta) recently. He says T4 will not cope with Alternative Curriculum side of T6 so if you use that for this year's timetable, I would disable it before September. I still prefer T4 but times are changing.

:smash:I have just bought 4 netbooks for the PE dept for using SIMS Lesson Monitor. Lasted one and half weeks before one is broken - dropped on the changing room floor, I think! Have anybody heard about a case or holder that let you use netbook when you are walking around eg strapped to your body like the ice vendor in the cinema?

When I merge excel data in word the date go to US format, how do I keep the date as UK?

I only work in SIMS, reports, training, assessment, profiles, data, census, admissions manager, data manager, etc.

Are the any Sims System Manager out there? I would like to now what grade of salary you are on?

Yes I am referring to Reports -> Timetables -> Staff/Student timetables, the first screen appears immediatley,select the person I want, and wait, wait wait and wait!!!!

Hi Guys, I am frustrated with the reports in SIMS!!!!! To call up a teacher/student timetable is so slow, I could run round and look in every rooms before the timetable appearing in screen!!! Anybody else having the same problem.

Thanks Vikpaw, You answered my question, I thought I had to typing the targets in again and again. I didn't know I can pre-configured targets. Also I have used a template in excel to monitor students at break and lunchtime. Many thanks:D

Hi Vikpaw. Yes I want to use SIMS, however I click of Report Card it is for lesson only and for one student. I wanted to open a Report Card and select mutliple students. Is it possible?
