First off, Someone from Advent will meet with you and talk through the advent courses.
If He/She finds you suitable, then they will put your name forward to be accepted for enrolment. He/She will then also let you know that the courses are not cheap!
The SQL Database administrator course boasting of an end grade MCITP costs
4750 Pound. But i see this as more of an investment.
But you would have to speak with an advent advisor first for yourself.
The courses offer all practical stuff that you will need in a work enviroment.
They have workshops and other help aswell.
To be fair id rather spend 5K and being supported and then pass, than 2K on working hard struggling paying for all my exams, no workshops, etc and FAIL.
If money is tight then have you ever heard of a CDL... career development loan?
Barclays and the co-op banks do them. -

Basicly on acceptance to the course you phone the lender.
(Better if you have a bank account with them - 3 months)
They will ask how much the course costs and who with etc..
and offer you 80% of the funds interest free for the duration of the course + 1 month!
You Will have to find the other 20%!!
But dont forget that you are entitled to extra funds for course needs (Laptop,Xp pro,Win office etc..)
If your serious, its allways worth a try and usually allways fruitfull.
hope this was a help..

p.s. I want paying for this advent!!!!!
