Hi Ive double checked and "everyone" has full control of the folder, and everyone in the staff group is set to run staff.bat so i cant work out whats wrong? Mind you this school is the Bermuda triangle - things that should logically work dont, and things that shouldnt work do!

Yes, and it does do that, although it misses off one printer. We changed the driver for the photocopier printer from RPCS to PCL and it doesnt change it like it should. Other than that it appears to be working correctly, but i dont really know what im looking at.

hmmm, can only imagine the logon scripts aren't running properly or the permissions on the folder aren't right. have you checked that all the people you expect to be tracking are using the logon script? Well, the group policy for staff members is that it runs staff.bat on logon. However the log only contains 3 peoples login information, mine and two teachers! How do i check that all the members of the staff group are executing the script at logon?

Was expecting about 15-20?

Hey all Im Jon Im relivaley new at this lark so be gentle! I have been at the school for just oer 12 months, orignially working part time between this school and another (they're both specials). There are some interesting problems! Im not the worlds most technical person, so bear with me if i seem a bit thick - but i am learning!

In Server 2003 is there any way i can track who is logging on when and/or where? We have an issue where one of our staff members seems to be logging on as another user, or as themsleves at strange times?

The user is a local administrator so sohuld have read/write access to all the PC but i will double check. I dont know how to export the template as Sims doesnt allow us to get that far!

Hi all Im new at this so please be gentle! One of my admin collegaues has an error when she tries to export a report into word, it says: "Error: Length cannot be less than zero Parameter Name: length" We have spoken to our internal IT helpdesk who say it is an office issue? Can anyone shed any light on this?
