One of my schools recently purchased 16 Hitachi Interactive Projectors and I'm trying to find a way to deploy the software with Group Policy. I have found with previous versions there was a batch file to prepare the MSI's for deployment, but I can't find them with 9.42 for Windows.

I just fixed that problem yesterday. You will need to edit the MSI with an editor, I use Orca. Click the "InstallExecuteSequence" table and then look for "PreventDowngrade" by default it should be set to 1 change it to 0. That should resolve the problem.

We went to Google Apps at the beginning of this year for all of our staff. Now that we are looking into adding student accounts this is a concern, I know I can reset a password on any account and get into it, but is there an easier way to do it? I was going to send a PM to cybernerd to ask about it, but being "new", although I could have swore I joined a few years ago and posted a couple of times, I'm unable to PM until I have 5 posts.
