Thanks for the info, yes we have removed all client machines using rangerremove. We are very against reinstalling the server as a DC, it looks like a manual tidy up then. Any details on where to look in regedit and any "hidden" services or files it may have installed would be apprieciated. Thanks

We have recently upgraded our network with new W2K8 servers which we have used DCPROMO to upgrade our AD to the new DC's. Unfortunately we had Ranger installed on one of our W2K3 DC's which has now been demoted, and to uninstall it it goes through the installation process and wants the server to be a DC. Please can someone help us remove Ranger Server from our server? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks
