  1. It's either of these: http://www.banxia.com/images/dualboard/pens/Interactive_Pen.png http://www.banxia.com/images/dualboard/pens/RedPen.png I don't think they came with chargers.
  2. Yeah I looked at that but you need the charger to allow the pens to work. The original pens just took AAA batteries so they didn't come with a charger.
  3. Does anyone happen to have any spare RM Classboard pens lying around that you aren't using? They have stopped making them and the only compatible pens I can find are from these guys and I begrudge paying £117 for essentially one pen: https://secure.banxia.com/#shop If anyone does have any we would be willing to buy as many as we can off you.
  4. Hi. I've been having this problem and I've seen a solution on the meru forums that worked for me. You just need to enable Allow Multicast Flag in the ESS settings. I've pasted below what it actually does but whatever it is, it lets IOS9 devices connect. Not a full fix but it will do for now. On: Enables multicasting. Enable multicasting only if you need to use a multicast application. Enabling multicasting causes all multicast packets on the air side to appear on the wired side, and all multicast packets on the wired side to appear on the air side. Caution! Multicasting is allowed only when an ESS profile has a one-to-one mapping with the default VLAN for this ESS profile; no other ESS profile uses the same VLAN and security rules associated with this ESS profile do not redirect traffic to another VLAN. Multicasting is an advanced feature. Enable multicasting only if you need to use a multicast application. Enabling multicasting causes all multicast packets on the air side to appear on the wired side, and all multicast packets on the wired side to appear on the air side. Off: Disables multicasting.
  5. The user has full write/modify access to the share on the server. It just always comes up saying Unable to load file and then the error above. I'll give the SIMS support line a call and see what they say.
  6. Hi. Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm getting the same error and have no idea why. Thanks.
  7. I thought it was a bit strange. We are having major budget issues at the moment too but this supply of freebies doesn't seem to be stopping. Not that I'm complaining. Maybe she just has a gift for this kind of thing? I don't think it is all coming from the borough but I know that a chunk of it is.
  8. So the title may be a tad misleading but I just have a general query about what kind of free stuff you get at your schools. We have an assistant head here that somehow manages to get many gadgets for free. Some of them even seem useless. She seems to have a never ending supply of them. So far she has got us 20 Nintendo DS, 10 iPod touchs, a Wii, a netbook, some video conferencing hardware, an Apple TV and she just came to us with a PS3. Is this the same for every school or does she have some bizarre gift for getting free stuff? Most of them seem to be coming from our borough so I assume that other schools get things like these. Also, can anyone think of an educational use for a PS3?
  9. This sounds like a really good idea. Is there any chance that you would send me the script? TonyRidal, I like the idea of getting the kids to report the damage too. It may stop the complaints from the teachers at the extra work they need to do. Might also make them realise what they are doing.
  10. We have a bunch of old keyboards that we use to replace keys but recently it just got out of control and we didn't have enough spare keys. We have tried getting the teachers to check the room before and after the lessons but most of them seem to resent the extra work and then people argue over what was there at the beginning of the lesson and it just gets difficult. Either that or they just forget and nothing gets recorded. It's all very annoying.
  11. Hello all. I'm new to the forums but they have come in very handy so far. We are having major issues at the moment with kids stealing keyboard keys. I was just wondering what other people do to deal with this as I am getting really annoyed with ordering loads of keyboard. Thanks.
