Legion S02E01 had its UK premiere last night on FOX. Brilliant show, no idea what's going on and probably won't until the end of the season. A lot like Westworld in that regard. Based off a Marvel comics series, it has loose familial ties with the X-Men series.

Seen these claims before. Anyone else remember "Lindows" which then became Linspire?
-
17"? Say what? I think 14" is perfect and 15.6" is too big.
-
Perhaps use USB Drive Letter Manager to ensure memory sticks don't take the G Drive.
-
Fantastic. Now we just need them to enable SAML single sign-on authentication for a zero-touch user experience and I'll be happy.
-
So, have they implemented SSO/SAML authentication yet? Can't be having users prompted for their credentials again after they're logged in. Also, each Team Drive has a hard limit of around 140,000 objects (files+folders). Google's answer to this? Create additional Team Drives.

We use Poweroff.exe from http://users.telenet.be/jbosman/poweroff/poweroff.htm

Thanks, will drop them an email. What's the betting that for some reason we won't qualify and instead would need to pay them lots of money?

At Students upgrade to Windows 10 Education at no cost | OnTheHub students can type the name of your institution and may be able to get a free copy of Windows 10 Education. For our institution, it says "Your school does not have a web store, please visit the OnTheHub eStore to see products available to you. Click here." Nowhere can I find how to enable this 'web store' to enable our students to download a free copy of Windows Education. We have both Campus 3 and Select Plus agreements in place. Does anyone know what I need to do to enable this, and will it cost us any additional money?

It's worth installing the Anti-Ransomware File System Resource Manager Lists to your file servers. https://fsrm.experiant.ca/ It's a Powershell script that: * Installs FSRM if it's not already installed * Downloads a list of ransomware file names * Configures FSRM to block any files with these names and alert you immediately It requires Powershell 4.0 to run, so an update will be required on Server 2008 but should run fine on 2012. Don't forget to configure the FSRM alerts once it's installed. To update this information, in File Server Resource Manager, on the Action menu, click Configure Options, and then update the email addresses on the Email Notifications tab. You might want to schedule the script to run every day, so that the latest lists are downloaded and installed automatically. -
Was bought a number of years ago because our media department insisted they had to have it. It's just been returned to us because they don't want it any more and they think it's never been used. It's a "Stordigital Systems CD/DVD Duplicator", I can't find a model number on it but it has one input drive and three output drives. Their site is Blu-Ray Duplicators, CD Duplicator, DVD duplicators, DVD CD Printers & USB Copiers from StorDigital. No idea if it will copy protected DVDs, but I would doubt it very much. Yours for free if you collect or pay for courier collection from GL7 1XA.

Google Drive as mapped drive letter with seamless auth via ADFS?
azc replied to azc's topic in Cloud Services
Yeah looking to find a way of doing it which doesn't involve syncing the contents of the Drive to the local disk every time someone logs in. I don't know why Google can't understand this is a terrible idea in a multi-user environment like education! -
Hi folks, We've been asked to investigate whether we can map a drive letter to student's Google Drive storage. It would need to work just like OneDriveMapper, in that it should be seamless and work without any input from the user. We have Google Apps set up to authenticate with ADFS, so this should all be possible.... somehow! Anyone have any scripts, sites, ideas? Thank you!

There used to be a whole family of fun desktop widgets like that. There was a bouncing sheep, which for some reason had the name scmpoo.exe, and who remembers Bonzi Buddy? Plus of desk various other desktop companions in the form of ladies.

What's happened to ClickView UK support? It seems their UK team has completely disappeared, and they're trying to do global support from Australia. I heard they moved offices from Cambridge to London, did they get rid of all their UK support at the same time? It's made getting assistance very difficult as it's the middle of the night in Aus.

Was with Gamma until recently, when our account was "upgraded" to a new server which then didn't accept the dialling rules our NEC PBX was enforcing, and they refused to move us back to the system that worked. We have since moved to Node4 Ltd.

I reckon it's dust buildup on the LCD panel inside the projector. If you're that attached to it, you could get it professionally cleaned.
