I've seen similar errors to this in Outlook when a mailing list is corrupt. Have you tried editing the mailing list and re saving it?

Are you able to disable the wireless adapter before going wired via Switch or software toggle for example? Even when wired windows will still utilise the wireless adapter and on some occasions prioritise over wired traffic. Perhaps Tempererally remove wireless profile from windows and leave adapter on whilst just wired. It's possible that the wireless configuration isn't liked on those adapters with or without updated drivers. For example if wireless is in Mixed Mode WPA/WPA2.

Thank you for the reply John. The phones are approved to the best of my knowledge. The status is 'In Call' whilst a call is active as apposed to Busy when the Calendar is set to in a meeting. Unfortunately the 'In Call' Status (presence) does not revert back to Available once the user hangs up the phone. This is so far only a select few. I have stumbled across a number of articles regarding the association between Skype and Outlook calendars but unfortunately it doesn't tie in with this specific problem. Thanks

During a call using Skype for Business 2015 (formally Lynch) several users have complained that their availability status is remaining as 'In Call' even though the call has ended. The user would have to manually change the status back to available. The software is fully up to date and apart from a known issue whereby the software reports your status as 'Busy' based on what's going on in your calendar there don't appear to be any documented cases on this asside from one that my colleage has logged with Microsoft and so far unanswered. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It was just an experiment really. I'll change it back at the earliest opportunity.

Afternoon I have an Intel RAID Controller SRCSASLS4I running Windows Server 2008 R2 with some recent speed issues. Some time earlier last year one of the 4 drives in the array died and I replaced it successfully. To my knowledge everything was fine up until a few months ago with no issues to my knowledge until then. The server was demoted from a DC to a WSUS server and as such I started noticing issues with speed when clients updated. My first thoughts were that the replacement drive may be causing an access and write delay due to not being 100% identical to the other drives but following a firmware update of the controller all 4 drives have the same negotiated link speed of 3.0 Gbps despite the new drive being capable of 6.0 Gbps. Before the firmware update the new drive negotiated 1.5 Gbps. Despite this no performance gain has been noticed. There were no driver updates available. As well as this I noticed that the Write Policy was running at Write Through instead of Write back but this could be down to the controller not having it's own battery backup unit attached. Never the less I changed the setting, rebooted out of curiosity but have not gained any speed. I wonder whether any of the other drives are also faulty despite there being no reports. Can anyone recommend any software that might be able to monitor and detect any defects in the raid array?

Again thank you for the suggestions. Had a busy year so haven't been able to catch up on the suggestions until now. I think I'll start with ITDB as it looks simplistic enough for others to access whereas the others may confuse the likes of people round these parts.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately there are few options available other than a database server to install on. I think I may have found the culprit but haven't had a chance to reinstall yet.

I have been attempting to install WSUS on Server 2012 R2 SP1 x64 with a few Hiccups. Firstly I believe it went well until I realised System Center Essentials 2010 installs its own WSUS version and uninstalled it. System Center refused to install thereafter due to WSUS still being present after I had uninstalled it, however any attempt to clean it has been futile. The only documentation I can find is in reference to Server 2012 not R2 and msiexec uninstall string for x64 isn't recognised. I have deleted the iis entries and any registry reg entries I can find to no avail. Out of interest I attempted to reinstall WSUS via Server Manager only to be presented with an error relating to an Invalid Installation Directory. This I can partially put down to it being a DC which isn't recommended of course. As far as I know either WSUS or System Center Essentials should still work regardless just not efficiently. Can anyone confirm whether I'm wrong about this? I require either solution but am happy just to get WSUS up and running and utilize an alternate solution to System Center. Thank you for any advice.

Can anyone recommend a low cost Inventory Management solution? A lot of schools I manage simply use Excel but would like a more efficient solution with the ability to add bar codes along with Serial Numbers and Makes and Models and room numbers of course. inFlow Inventory is something I stumbled across which is free but seems to be aimed more at stock. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you

Mouse Cursor will move very slowly or sluggishly as if being held back. The cause is apparently due to secondary network adapters without a connection intermittently being checked for a live feed. This is found when you main board has a certain Intel NIC. The sollution is to either connect a live network cable or disable the network adapter until it is needed.
