As reluctant as i am to drag up a thread from the past, i'm getting a little desperate here... Is anyone else using SoftXpand having a problem with BSODs? We're running it through XP SP3, fully updated, have tried various versions of the software, and have followed all the instructions on the various support websites, but no matter what we do we're still intermittently getting INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA errors. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to it either, which is a worry. I've tried debugging the Minidump files created whenever it happens but all i can get is that the fault is caused by mfosdrvr.sys, which is a SoftXpand file. Anyone got any ideas?

They've always been excellent in my opinion. I struggle to think of a single complaint i can make against them!

We've used Impero for a couple of years now. About the only improvement i can think of off the top of my head would be to improve the performance of version 3. It's such a resource hog compared to version 2! Incidentally, the price we pay per year is pretty reasonable, too.

Pencil - Pencil - a traditional 2D animation software Again, it's a bit limited, but might be an option. That said, if they don't feel Scratch is powerful enough they probably won't like this. It is free, though!

What's the issue with their 'snooping' policies? Been looking into getting Virgin and haven't, as of yet, seen anything to make me wary!

Our NM wasn't particularly taken by the new SIMS, or rather, what he was told about it at the meeting the other week. I imagine we'll be sticking with Facility for now, and keeping an eye on Progresso.

Capture a couple of thousand packets of network traffic using Wireshark or something similar and see if you can spot any glaring problems, maybe? It's the first thing i do when our network's on a go-slow.
