This made me laugh in Private Eye a couple of weeks ago... -
Hmmm, has this been dealt with? I see the 10 second reload thing above this thread, but not in others. The thread which was doing it yesterday afternoon (http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/98203-oi-apprentice-build-us-entirely-new-network-ground-up-kthx.html) is now OK

Basically no! we got one of our German teachers to ring them in the end as they are impossible to contact any other way. There is an upgrade available but you need to be given access to it after registering on their site and we just couldn't get it sorted. In the end we decided to buy the new version (which apparently does work in Win7 but I cant verify that) but couldn't even do that as they only accept bank transfers.

Tough new O-Levels to replace GCSEs under Gove plan
PICNIC replied to PICNIC's topic in General Chat
Because they wouldn't do it right and we would end up with another mess, someone would want this bit changed and someone else that bit until its messed up. -
BBC News - Tough new O-Levels to replace GCSEs under Gove plan Sounds like a plan Though it could all be bunkum "The details are in a leaked document seen by the Daily Mail which sources say are broadly correct" As Russell Howard says "its 60 pages of scary Bull...."

Just to add to andy_nic's post (we work in the same school), the batch that was faulty all had service tags ending in B4J and the others of the same model that came in a different batch without the ****B4J service tags had a distinctly thicker hinge at the part that snapped, almost as if they changed the design because it was a weak spot. The replacement hinges were all the thicker design too.
