  1. If the above question was meant for me I think you misunderstood. What I meant is hook up the two drives (the drive with the data and the primary boot disk) both as slaves to the Windows 7 laptop and use RoboCopy off the Win 7 platform. To copy the data to the primary hard drive (loaded with the Win XP platform) and then reinstall that drive in the machine. That should work wouldn’t it?
  2. The e switch doesn't work either. I forgot to mention I am using the older version (not XP026 as I am still running XP). From all I read the earlier version of RoboCopy will not keep filestamps when going across drives. My wife has a Windows 7 laptop with the latest version of RoboCopy so I guess I'll have to hook up my drives via a USB and copy them that way.
  3. Anyone have the script that copies folders and fles that retain the original file creation date across drives? The folders keep copying with the current date and I want to retain the original file creation date.
