Our network manager is currently looking into UE-V for our setup too. We tried at the beginning of term and had a number of issues(not related to UE-V as such, but Windows 10 swapover) so reverted back to what we know worked. But we are thinking of changing it now that other issues have been sorted.

Hello, We have found that if you haven't created the profile.V6 folder with the correct permisisons before user login, then it auto-creates the folder and sets the permissions incorrectly. We created the folders for each user to ensure this doesn't happen!

Along with the auto-save would it be possible for it to prompt to save on open, after the Candidate details have been entered?

Auto-save sounds like a good idea too! We're going to run it on some internal exams to see how it works but our Exams officer seems OK with it.

Hi, This is so good the changes you made! I am now starting to feel like a nagging person! ha ... Is there a way for the Candidate info for the header to be saved within the saved file? I have noticed that if you create a file with the candidate info, then open it on a different machine it doesn't keep it's header information. Also a member of staff has pointed out to me that some Students also require the text display colour to be different also as part of Irlens. Again thanks for your work!

Hi, Was there a reason for the Candidate number being added at print time instead of onload at all? It's is just we print off for students and we aren't always handed the details or exam information. So it would be better for us if they could enter it when they start the exam. Thanks again for all the work!

We were thinking more of the display settings for students so they can see the text they are writing better? In terms of formatting, we were thinking things such as bold or bullet points/numbering. I think alignment such as centre and right/left alignment for things like letter writing in English. I was wondering whether it could be an option for us to change the default save location through the config file as we use exam accounts which we currently save exams to their Home drive for easier printing. I think the main issue for implementing it for us would be the text display size.

Yes on first launch would be great! and those details sound good too. My line manager also mentioned that being able to increase font size and a little formatting(eg - alignment, etc...) could be useful for us. Also is it possible for us to set a location for Auto backup? and even a default save location? We use exam accounts so to easily clear backups would be useful. Thanks

Any chance of an option to have a header for student details(Name,Exam,StudentID,CentreID,etc...)? This is something we would use a lot for organisation.

Setting the IP address as static takes away the unable to obtain IP message but doesn't resolve the issue!

For a couple of weeks I've been struggling to get a Dell Latitude E5400 to resolve an IP through the school's HP 10ag access point. At first I thought it was an issue with the laptop drivers however I have recently noticed another Dell laptop is having the same issues! I have completely reset the access point and even upgraded it's firmware but still having the same issues! Other devices are connecting to it fine! Any help will be greatly appreciated as I only have 3hours per week to support the school's IT needs and this is taking up all my time! Thanks in advance! Sam V South Yorkshire
