Wow Your Brave, I've done a similar thing but used the MSM 760 to create a number of single use 1hr accounts and then just give them out to people who need access as and when (guests, not students). We also offer Free student WiFi that authorises using a Radius server against the students username and password for the network (802.1x). Then we log all that and push their traffic through our proxy. Hope that helps, Tom

I feel your pain, just literally set these up myself on two sites. Brilliant when they're in and very quick but setting them up is a nightmare. Login to the AP and update the firmware then restore it back to factory defaults. Leave it for five and the Management box will pick it up, do all your config on the management box. I've had it sometimes where you discover the AP on the management box set an IP and it adds the box to the list of managed APs but never actually updates the AP itself... In this case log into the AP directly and set the same IP within a minute or so the management box will show it as connected and will synchronise it. Hope this helps!

Guys, can anyone give me any help with this. We are using thinstation and have trialed it for a week or so without any problems at all. We got it auto reconnecting via RDP to our RDS 2008 R2 server. Yesterday I licensed the RDS Server giving it 20 Device licenses which it is slowly handing out to the clients initially it gave them temporary licenses. For some reason since licensing clients now connect to the RDS Server when you first boot thin station and then rather than looping like it has done all week it goes to a black screen when it times out after 1 minute the first time. If you then turn it off at the wall and back on it starts over again. Connects once and times out and then black screen as opposed to reconnecting. Anyone with any ideas?
