  1. Hi Guys, I wondered if any of you could give me some advice on the MCITP Self-Paced Training Kit, im considering buying this as i dont really wanna spend 1800 quid to go on a course and learn about this and want to learn and take the exams at my own pace. The thing that im worried about is will this give me everything i need to know and will it allow me learn about everything in a simple way rather than just give you the knowledge to pass the exams, im not knew to computers or anything like that but im also no expert and this subject would be completely knew to me so im lookin for something that will break me in with ease and not expect me to know everything but also once Ive read the books etc be able to then take the exams or work in this field to gain the experience. If any of you could advise that would be great plus if any of you have actually bought this kit and used it too your comments would be really appreciated. Cheers, Ed ps the link for the kit is below incase anyone is wanting to buy it ( on offer on amazon at the min MCITP Self-Paced Training Kit Exams 70-640, 70-642, 70-643, 70-647 : Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Adminstrator Core Requirements Book/CD/DVD ... 2. Hi Guys, Hope you can help, I've basically got a new laptop battery for my Packbard Bell Easynote laptop and I have replaced one for it in the past but I had to do some some steps to get the laptop to recognise the new battery. The only problem is the new one didnt come with these instructions like the old one and the ebay person I bought it from doesnt know the steps either, Before I send it back to him I just wondered if any of you knew these steps and could advise me on them so i dont have to send it back. If anyone could help that would be great Many Thanks, Ed
  3. Hi Guys, im looking for a bit of advice, i currently work as a IT support analyst but not getting alot of money so im looking at putting myself through either microsoft or other IT certifications im just bit unsure on them as there are so many different ones and i wondered if any of you could advise the best route for me to take with the knowledge i have i did an IT degree at university so i do have some knowledge in different areas but i never felt like it gave me enough to do one job in a certain area for e.g. i did web development as a module but i feel i do not know enough to actually go into as a full time job and the same from the rest of my modules i did. I wondered if any of you could tell me for any of these courses do you need to have some background knowledge in them or could you do the course and gain this by doing them? for e.g. if i did for example the mcsa course would i need to know alot about this already or could i do the course and learn everything by doing this course? its not like i would be a beginner or anything as i do have IT knowledge but im worried i wont know enough to do any of them if its something i havent studied before. I know this may sound like a broad question but any advise at all on this would be great Many thanks, Ed
