docx files files are really zip containers containing xml files You should be able to open the docx file with zip program. I am not sure whether you have to change the extension from docx to zip. Just try to open the docx file first with zip. If that doesn't work, then change the extension to zip. You should then be able to get to all the parts of your document. I hope this helps. Matthew.
