Hello I'm James, I'm a Network Manager at a large secondary school in Carlisle, Cumbria. I look after a network of approx. 2500+ users, 600 PC's, 10 servers - a mixture of Netware, Windows, Linux on a campus that consists of 7 buildings. I lead a small team responsible for network support. I'm also a part-time freelance IT Consultant specialising in Novell products; Netware, Groupwise, ZENworks, BorderManager, eDirectory, DirXML/iDentity Manager and Open Enterprise Server (Netware & SUSE Linux). I have a few certs - Master Certified Novell Engineer, Chartered IT Professional (BCS CITP), Certified Network Professional (CNP), PRINCE2 Practitioner (Project Management), ITIL Foundation. Just done CompTIA Linux+ and currently studying for Novell Certified Linux Professional/Engineer certifications. I'm glad my post on TES provoked so much interest. Whatever your view its good to see people getting involved. I don't think the experiences at our school are unique, however I recognise that it isn't universal. Interesting forums, I'll try and contribute where I can! 8O
