Help! I've been struggling to get our new 2012 r2 server setup to be KMS server. I think it could be because it has a MAK key for server instead of KMS key maybe but my microsoft volume licencing site there is only a mak key for server 2012. I'm trying to activate office 2013 and have entered the office 2013 kms key in the volume activation tool installed on server and activated it. I know I need to have more than 25/30 clients but I want to check it is going to work first, and I don't think it is. I have tried running slmgr.vbs /dli on server to see the current KMS count and just get Windows operating system, 'Volume_mak channel Licence status: licenced' Any suggestions?

I had no problem doing this for Office 2010 but finding 2013 difficult! Seems to install OK without customizing but doesn't instal after customizing with customization tool. Has anyone succeeded with office 2013 package yet?
