we try have standard printers of lexmark laser printers and hp business injets so we dont need to buy lots of different stock, and keep stock of at least two of each cartridge. school printing budget pays for any network printers toner and paper and department pay for local printers ink.

we may be changing our helpdesk to one called richmond suppose to be very good. -
Dont know if i have the right title but am looking for some software which will manage two internet connections. One our network connection and one standard karoo line. basically want it so i can plug both connections into one pc and share the karoo line down our network and just have to switch proxy settings in IE to acess the karoo line. Will only be used by our finance team so they can acess a banking website which were having problems with on YHGFL. If anyone knows what am on about and knows of some software or a cheep bit of hardware which can do this would be a great help. Thanks Chris C

Well we have the boardworks stuff for frog and it wouldent work right with the first version with out making loads of changes to windows settings like opening powerpoint files with out askign and turning off security warning banner. Which yes maybe do able inside the academy but hole point is staff want the kids to see the resorces and access from home which then means there settings need changing to make it work. So they sent us the platform independent version works better but still not brilliant not realy that impressed. -
we have a LG VHS - dvd recorder combo which does the job nicely if the video neededs editing afterwards just rip to pc from dvd most cases not.
