  1. Other folks that are not domain admins (or even local admins) do not have this issue. Yes. Every other PDF opens no problem I will grant her local admin rights and check the permissions on her profile. thanks for the fresh ideas
  2. I had not tried that. Not sure the activeX controls would run at all. (pretty sure they won't) I did however, log on as myself (domain admin) and it worked under my profile.
  3. The problem started while 9.2 was installed. the same week that the problem arose, 9.3 was released. Didnt make any difference though
  4. Bank online e-statements. a few users can get to the point where the spare window pops up where the pdf should be displayed and they are met with a blank white screen. User assured me that this is the only PDF/IE related function that is not working. I checked their IE security settings and they were spot on. I reinstalled adobe with no happy results. I logged into user's PC and and was able to see them no problem. This screamed "profile". I went ahead and killed the local profile and renamed her roaming one. no difference. I reinstalled IE7. no difference. This behavior does not follow her to other machines. (Yet eliminating her profile changed nothing.) this all works fine in Firefox If the issue was due to a WSUS update I would imagine that it would effect waaaaay more people. Any ideas?
  5. I am able to automatically forward emails to a users personal blackberry by using a manual contact/forwarder setup in AD for exchange pointing from his Exchange e-mail account to his BlackBerry e-mail address. His e-mail account does allow imap4/pop3 however, the imap/pop3 server is not externally addressable. Through an automatic forward/BCC from his Blackberry, I am able to get his replies to hit his exchange mailbox HOWEVER... Once the replies reach his exchange mailbox, they automatically forward yet another to his blackberry. Everything is working.. but there seems to be a lot of extra mail flowing. I can apply a filter to handle mail on his exchange mail... but not the Verizon account. Is there anything I am overlooking? Is there any way to alter how incoming mail is handled on the blackberry? can we set up rules to handle these autoforwarded replies?
