Hi All. Our 64bit Server 2003 that hosts VMWare virtual servers, is loosing its shares every 5 minutes. A reboot seems to fix the problem for a short period but this isn't helpful when our Print Server lives on this physical. We are convinced it is a service that is either stopping or not working properly but are unsure which could be causing the problem. Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this issue? Thanks for your help guys, has helped alot this morning I have now got FMS working on 2 of the machines in our office which have SQL Server 2005 Express including Native Client installed. Have tested FMS and this is fully functional. I have done exactly the same on the new machine ie. install fresh copy of SIMS and FMS, i then get the following error opening both databases: 'An error occurred while attempting in initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $210A)' I think somewhere along the line something has screwed up. I might just rebuild the machine and start from scratch?

Hi All, Signed up a little while a go and it seems a very nice community! :-) We havn't had to use you until now! After much nagging, we decided to agree to buy our Business manager a new high spec PC. Capita seem to be as much use as a chocolate teapot! FMS seems to be causing us a problem. SQL Native client has been installed along with FMSApplicationsetup.exe The FMSConnect.ini file was then copied from a working FMS machine into the same location on the new machine. (Was told to do this by Capita) We have never had to re-installed FMS on any machine - it's just worked, so it all is new to us! Is the above the right procedure? Do we have to do anything else afterwards? I read somewhere about having to copy the entire MSSQL folder from the Finance folder on a working machine? Any help and tips would be much appreciated!
