It would probably be worth moving upwards to the CP4005n. Yes you'll pay maybe £150 or so more but with 7.5k toner yields with prices for black and colours being around £100 and £150 respectively you can at least claw some of the running costs back.

One of my retail customers is after a few hundred of these, I hadn't really heard any bad reports on this till now. Getting slightly concerned at the moment I've spent the last half hour or so going through Canon, Brother and Epson. I'll be honest im really struggling to find an alternate as well!!

Asus part number is K50IJ-SX138V From scanning what's available it seems to have the most bang for your buck and at least you are giving some leeway in terms of what it can do a couple of years hence?

Depending on quantity you can probably get the 19" Dicota ones for sub £40 but agreed, they are a total rip off for what they are.
