Thanks, a lot of it is just getting used to SSRS and the complexities of the fields and data sets. I think you are right about the reports the secondary schools in our trust seem to have a better footing for reports and the primaries have a few useful reports but a lot is being done as we go along. I've Sorted our FSM, SEN and Attendance reports just need to get the specifics like Mailing list for eldest child and some other useful reports created from sims.net

Calling any Primary schools using Progresso... We've just moved over and I'm getting to grips with reporting in SSRS and would love to know how different schools manage the workload/flow and any examples of how you've replicated sims or cmis reports in progresso would be useful to. Any help appreciated :-)

We've just gone live and with any system there are good and less good bits.... the interface is clear and staff like using it all of the front end stuff works but it's slow and we have 500mb fibre. It does seem fragile compared to sims.net and the reporting server is unbelievably over complicated for ordinary primary school staff to use and time consuming In sims I could design a simple EAL / Home Language and admissions report in few minutes in Progresso it has taken an hour, hoping that this will improve with familiarity. Support on the whole has been good so far...

Just found out that Tempus are in the hands of the administrators and will cease trading on Friday. Techie advised me to collect two pc's in person from their service desk as no one will be manning it from tomorrow. No one is answering phones or emails at the HQ been trying all day to get through. Morning all, Having a major headache with this piece of software [iMindmap 4 Education] it installed fine on the network [Windows 7 Enterprise] and as per the installation instruction I logged on as administrator and changed the proxy settings to match our server. We're a BGFL school and use the eduproxy.bgfl.org address on port 80. When I log on as administrator the programs works fine and the gallery connects to the internet. (no problem) Yet when we log on as a teacher or student user the proxy settings vanish from the internet settings window and the gallery doesn't work, Any attempt to change them is reset once the program restarts. Have spoken to Buzan support and they say its a known problem (!?!) but they haven't provided a viable answer that fixes the problem. There last solution was to edit the I Mindmap.ini file to include the proxy settings but this didn't work at all. See below, bit in orange is the bit they suggested to add. Hi I've spent the last two days trying to get a straight answer from link2ict and failed miserably all I want to know is my ftp address and login details for my website, And zimbra has completely cocked up our office machines only one of 4 machines connects the other 3 crash or refuse to connect via outlook, why did we have to change to this system?
