Another option would be the NEC M range and add in the wireless adaptor. They have a broad throw range, so if you are replacing already installed units you should have less problems with the location of the projector, although you need to consider your existing mounts. These units have a 3 year de/re install warranty and 3 year lamp and will be well within budget.

Hi, MagicInfo I is now known as MagicInfo I Premium and is free to a point (basically the first 5 displays), also the interface is different to MagicInfo I - as a company we have been involved closely with Samsung when they first launched MagicInfo I on the quiet sometime ago and have deployed it on numerous educational and corporate sites. MagicInfo I is no longer a supported product, nor available from Samsungs download site (I just checked), so it would need to be MagicInfo I Premium. Thinking about your ppt issue, do you have ppt viewer installed in each screen? the screens from samsung are shipped 'dumb' so you need to install codecs depending on the content you are going to publish. Another option, although a pay for option is signagelive (digital signage software | signagelive delivering media to your screens) which is 'cloud' based and which offers a couple of options depending on your content requirements. They also do an upgrade path for existing MagicInfo users and it works great with the Samsung displays. If you need any extra info, just ask. Simon

you could also consider reimaging the display with the latest version of the OS for that screen, which I recently did to help a local school, I've copied the email here for you as you might find it useful. 1. Prepare a USB memory having more 800MB volume, and then make it bootable. Most of USB vendors provide their own way to make bootable USB. You can download and use the HPUSB application which is available from samsung-fix.com - /dssc/usb/. When making the USB bootable please select the DosWin98se as booting platform 2. Copy the DOS OS Image files and the SFIM.exe program to USB. You can find the OS Image at the bottom of this e-mail for your LFD screen. 3. Change Boot order in BIOS. On booting period, press F2 and enter the BIOS screen.->Select the Boot menu and enable the USB Boot First, and then select Save and Exit in the Exit menu 4. to recover OS use command: sfim /r:1 "imagefilename".sfi /s 5. to backup OS use: sfim /b:1 "imagefile".sfi 6. Recover the Boot Order in Bios.
