Trying to embed a Blogspot and am getting "Can't embed due to provider site permissions" Any ideas, please? (Setting up a Google INtranet and I'd like to include a HEadTeacher's Blog). Thanks.

I have, in the past, automatically (Excel VBA with XML DOM object) cretaed xml that I've then imported into SIMS to create templates with formulae. Reused it a few times. So if you're into that sort of stuff then that's an option.

Help! I can't connect to Edexcel so I am not going to be able to download my exam results. I've tried through both my home network and the school network and it won't connect. The only help available for the server error message is that it's something to do with a proxy server but that can't be the problem as I got on from home last week, no problem. I did have the problem at school last week but it just went away in the early hours of the morning after I'd gotten the EDI file from home. This week I'm stuck because it's not working for either network. Anyone else having problems or know what the issue is? Is there any other way to get my Edexcel EDI files? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Has anybody got OCR Results down the line yet? I was expecting some at midnight but nothing has arrived. Unfortunately my OCR Interchange password is not working so I can't check that way either. Just wondered - if anyone else is up at this time - if it's me or have they just not been made available yet? Thanks.

Hi all Please can someone advise the best way to download a spreadsheet of the school's students' KS4 results for 2012 and 2011. I'm new to my establishment and am not sure that I can wholly trust the data in the MIS or disparate spreadseets. I've tried FFT and Raise but can only find summative information. What I am after is something like the spreadsheet that is made available for download during the data checking (Forvus / RM) exercise. Thanks in anticipation EM

This is the main line of attack and so we have changed default passwords. However, I am told that software and / or hardware is freely available on the web that will try all ten thousand password combinations in minutes. I'm not sure how true this is or if it's just scaremongering - it doesn't sound like something that would be too difficult to accomplish. I'm thus surprisedd that there didn't seem to be a whole load of cheap alternatives to ControlPhreak. Wonder if anyone else has any further views on the subject...

We are being advised that we should buy ControlPhreak a PBX firewall to prevent Phreaking. Wondered if other schools perceive phreaking as a real threat and what they have done about it. Please can a few of you share your thoughts on what, if anything, you use to protect against this threat and what you think of the software or hardware that you are using. Thanks
