  1. Could be! I'll have a look tomorrow. Thanks.
  2. I'm having this problem with black toners on our FS-C5150DN printers. A black toner runs out, I put in a brand new, kyocera manufactured cartridge, the printer goes through its loading toner routine and then tells me that K needs replacing. If I look on the printer's web page it tells me that black toner is at 0% as well. A full black cartridge weighs 220g and an empty one 150g. These cartridges which are being shown as empty are up around 220g. Has anyone had this problem with Kyocera printers? Googling the problem is no help because all I get is page after page of sites wanting to sell me cartridges. Thanks! Nigel

  4. We've got two of these 25 berth LSMS/25 lapsafes going free to anyone who can arrange for them to be picked up. The only catch is that the trays are set up for laptops that are 275mm x 235mm (they were small Ergo Microlite 411 laptops with 12" screens). Having said that they might be just the thing for a set of Chromebooks or other small format laptop or tablet. The current charging system outputs 18.5v at 3.5A. Contact me on 020 84299524 if you want to discuss them. NIgel
  5. +++SOLVED+++ Just in case anyone else runs into it - 1. Using the browser having the problem go to Adobe - Shockwave Player 2. Launch any of the games. 3. Once it starts playing right click over the game's screen and choose Properties. 4. In the shockwave settings window untick the 'Allow backward compatibility' box. 5. click OK and return to moodle and MSS.
  6. RM's Multimedia Science School comes as SCORM zipped folders which you can install in a moodle course as a SCORM activity. I've done that but when I try to launch a module it hangs with a window saying it is installing compatibility components for the Adobe Shockwave player. This doesn't make sense as we've already got the very latest Shockwave installed on IE 8. Does anyone know how to get around this?
  7. Jonno, thanks for that - I'm now in a much better position to ask Groupcall exactly how they get stuff back from the database and how we can select the fields we need. This is exactly what I was able to do with Group Mail - an excellent bulk emailer that we use. I've since heard that Facility will use SQL queries with SIMS - so why not with Facility is the question I am going to be asking Groupcall tomorrow.
  8. Does anyone out there have any experience of running these two together. If anyone wants to make more generic comments the situation is this. Groupcall run a jolly good mobile text messaging service with a nice easy to use desktop interface and excellent reporting built-in. Facility's SMS faciilities seem more geared to attendance texting rather than the bulk emergency texting that we use Groupcall for. First, is this impression actually correct? Second, the way the connection seems to be managed by the Groupcall app is through a .cdb file pointing to the CMIS database. I'm used to sql queries so can anyone point me to anything that might explain a bit more about what a .cdb file does and how they are made and how we can make one that grabs just the fields that we need? Thanks muchly for any help that anyone can offer.
