Hi there all, just found this site, and so far, I must say, most useful.
I just started messing with FOG, and I'm getting ready to use it at a couple of schools for mass deployment, as well as spot deployment as necessary in the future. So far, I'm loving it compared to the DRBL/Clonezilla setup I was working on. The only issue I have, that was easy to do on the other setup, is how to go about doing a post image script.
My scenario is as follows, I have a sysprepped XP Image that I want to deploy. It is setup to look in various folders in c:\Drivers\ for the drivers it needs for all of the possible computers. The image does not contain the drivers, nor the sysprep.inf.
In clonezilla I had this working well, where the image would push, then after imaging, but before reboot, it would run a bash script that downloaded the drivers and sysprep files from the server, and dropped it on the C:\ drive of the imaged computer.
This setup leaves me with the ability to add new drivers as necessary without a image rebuild, and to adjust domain settings etc for different clients, again without modifying the base image.
If there is a way to do this in FOG, I can't seem to find it, so hopefully someone here has an idea.
