All safeguarding information can be entered onto SchoolBase securely as SchoolBase do now have a "secure notes" section. However schoolbase currently does not offer the reporting features that CPOMS or myconcern offer.

Hi, have you tried asking someone like Tablet Academy if they will provide the devices for your school and then use your school as a sort of pilot site where other schools in the area can learn from.

Yes 2Build a profile is what we have been advised to go with. However I have been told by our Head of Pre-Prep that tracking the childs progress through EYFS is a requirement for inspection. Our staff would prefer one system that will do it all rather than going into two separate websites/applications to collect evidence and monitor progress.

Hi Guys, We are currently using Focus Fingertips for our profiling. However from August 31st we can now longer use it to gather evidence and track progress as Focus Education have stopped this service. We have been advised to go with 2Simple as all our current data can be transferred over to them. However 2 Simple does not offer its own tracking service you have to purchase classroom monitor. Hi Guys, We are looking to purchase tablets for EYFS profiling. We are purely a windows network, I think we may purchase android tablets as they are cheaper. The software we have been looking at so far is 2Simple and Focus Fingertips. Has anyone used either of these or knows of any others that are good.

I have found spiceworks to be great for the helpdesk and the inventory aspect. the adverts dont really bother me as they are always IT related. Our network is small so speed is not really much of an issue.

Does anyone use an MIS that allows staff to register themselves.

Thanks everyone for your input. We will be meeting up with the three companies in the next few weeks to see if they fulfil our requirements. iSAMS seems like its the one we may go for at the moment as it integrates with sage200 which we are already using.

Hi, I am trying to set up Outlook on my PC however it does not seem to connect to the exchange server, I have tried every password I can think of and outlook doesnt seem to like it. It has been working before and I havent made any changes. I've tried reinstalling office, taking my pc of the domain and putting it back on and deleting my user profile. I can access my emails using outlook on a different PC and I can still use web access. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks,

Hi We are experiencing problems with some of our clients losing their connection to our mapped drives. A notification suddenly pops up with a message telling the user that they are working offline. The connection to our Exchange server is still running and the user can use the internet as well. If the users just right-click on the Offline notification and select synchronize they get connected to the mapped drives again. Whats causing this problem?

Hi Guys, At the moment I work for a school and I am only working 8till1pm. This was good to start of with but now im getting bored and want more hours. There is only one network manager working here and me. The network manager is teaching all day four days a week so he doesnt really have time to deal with problems that come up. Im not saying his useless but his hand are tied up teaching. I feel there is a need for me to stay on in the afternoons but i need a way to write this down politely.
