Hello, everyone. I have a problem with modem in Ubuntu 8.04. We use the Internet-banking in the firm, program connect throught 56Kbit/s modem with Wine. With Windows it's working,but with Linux modem has disconnected constantly. When I start this program with terminal, computer tells me about uupc-error? What I should do?

Hello, Shafia. I think, Ubuntu(Kubuntu, Xubuntu) or Mandrive is better for you, because its freeware and you need no pay for Windows-linece. I think so, that you would like to set all properties, but not a part, like in Windows. I use Ubuntu 9.04, than you may ask me about. Thanks for care. Evgeny.

Hello, everyone.... I have some problems with gateway in Ubuntu 8.10. Early I had Internet connection and P@P connection. After changing gateway bby my provider I hadn't both connections. With help usuall settings of network I hve the Internet, but haven't the P@P. The provider said I must change the gateway. He is user of Windows, then he doesn't know what to do... But I need P@P...
