Bidirectional support worked for me also the printers were back up in seconds. i also used the setting print after last page is spooled.

Does anyone have problems with these on the network? They were great when we first purchased them and now just don't seem to want to print from a client machine, but if we send a test page from the server it's fine. Thanks In Advance.

i know you said its a DC running File & Print, but, does it run sophos becuase we had a similar problem on some workstations if you have then just reinstall sophos. Hope this helps.

Think i have solved the problem... we had ghost installed on a Domain Controller, we recently purchased a new server which ghost was going to be on this is just a member server, now it seems to join them fine using the configuration. We have not made the new server into a domain controller to test my theory fully. Hope this helps some people!!!

Hi, I would definatly recomend Dell for your server and clients, as for your network switches your pc's may come with Gigabit network cards so go with Gigabit Switches you can pick some desktop ones up for about £30 for 8 Ports i understand you will only have 10 clients but it's there for any future expansion and will be fast for Imaging, if you decide to do this.

No they don't have accounts but before cloning Ghost does create some accounts in the computers container and these are disabled.

You do this when your setting up the task which is before.

If your using a Ghost Task or Ghost Cast to pull the image you will need to change the settings because when you partition a hard drive you need to set in the task that its DISK1 but also PARTITION1(C:) or it will do the whole drive and the both partitions (C:) and (D:).

Have you tried rejoining the client to the domain? also you can change the security group in the user's properties on the 'member of' tab.
