How many other Lincolnshire schools who host their own websites have been affected by this problem?
It seems that as of 9pm on Saturday schools who host their own websites cannot access them over the net.
Phoned the help desk waiting for a response. Meanwhile parents are contacting the school telling me our website is down… Thanks
are any other Lincoln schools having Internet Speed issues. We have noticed over the last few weeks how at times it girnds to a halt. We are aware of major changes coming soon. I have spoken to a couple of other technicans at various schools but just looking to see if more people are affected.

At my school we use a combination of our school website, Our parent Portal and a company called Parent Mail.
I feel that Parent Mail was used well when we had our snow in December but as the credits this system uses ran low there has been no talk of topping them up. The other thing parent mail dose well is distribution of emails to parents. Trying to get parents emails is another problem.
If you want something that will engage students the why not take a look at a free product called scratch its amazing and the kids here cant get enough of it
website: Scratch | Home | imagine, program, share
1) Does it connect to the Active Directory? yes
2) Does it do single sign on? yes (with a program called frog live)
3) Does it share homedrives for remote access? Defo
4) Does it do Single sign on email integration? It has an email system intergrated that can be imaped to outlook
