Simple, don't leave Bromcom, they have m-Register, which allows registers to be taken in the field, or on the coach to a school outing anywhere, ask them for a demo. It uses mobile phones, you could even go on a trip to Paris and mark your register from the top of the Eifel Tower.

Check out the Bromcom, they also have a great feature for parents to look at their kids, attendance and marks etc they call it MCAS, My Child at School

Have seen Bromcom's My Child at School, and can only say wow! It's easy to use and looks fantastic. It was demo'd at the Bett show this year. Have also heard that Bromcom listen to it's user's and if you make a good suggestion they will include it in the next release, how many other software providers do that? Most just supply it and that's how it comes, thank goodness there are people out there who listen.

Bromcom have a module called e-Contact that sends e-mails and SMS messages to contacts. Maybe you should contat them or look on thier website.
