Bit of a long shot and this may not be appropriate for this forum. I am writing my Privacy notices and I have come up with the ;awful basis I need to process the data. The thing is, where I have chosen a lawful if legal obligate, I have to say what the legal obligation is. where do I find this? TIA

I first heard this from a company selling electronic signing in systems. Slightly biased. We looked at the reason for having a book. It was to safeguard the children and keep a record of who was in the building in case of a fire. This seems to be in the public interest to me so we are keeping ours. We are going to make sure that it isn't a book though. We will change the sheet everyday to minimise that data shown.

Trying to use Lightspeed Mobile Manager to add G-suite Accounts to iPads We have just starting to use Lightspeed Mobile Manager to manage our class set of 32 ipads. I want to add an individual G-suite account to each one. So there would be an account called ipad01, ipad02 ... I can't manually add them on each device as this is to accessible and I can't find out where on the Lightspeed MDM individual accounts can be applied. TIA

Hi I hope I have posted this in the right place? I am investigating using Google Apps4Edu in schools. I am currently looking into Google Groups. Now I know there is some pretty unsavoury stuff (schoolwise) in there but there must be a way of getting it to work safely with Google Apps and not show the dodgy stuff? Does your filtering block content within Google Groups and just let through the safe stuff? Thanks

I work for a Primary school that has just become a Teaching school aswell. I have currently cobbled together a website that has embedded Google docs to take bookings and questions about courses that are being run. I need to come up with somthing a little more appropriate. I was thinking of using Word Press. The site has to be able to display all courses available, take bookings, have a calendar and have the ability to upload files. I would also like to the users to be available to see three of four of the lateset courses available. Can anyone recommend a course of action for me please?

On 14 Feb 2011 the Department for Education updated its guidance on Online Reporting to Parents. This says, "There is an expectation that schools will move towards online reporting, which will offer parents online access to information on their child's attendance, behaviour and progress in learning. The online reporting expectation does not replace face-to-face and direct engagement, nor does it duplicate or replace the existing statutory requirement to provide annual pupil reports for parents; but it is intended to provide parents with up-to-date information at appropriate points through the year to maintain their interest and enable a richer dialogue." I am not sure if this is the rest place for this question. I am running a series of workshops over a week and I want people to be able to go online book which workshops they want to attend. They have to be able see all available workshops and the people that are already booked on or the the spaces that are left on that workshop. Can anyone help me please?

you eed to go to view and customise interface. Then drag the record button from the left window to the right with the play button. when you go back to the mai window you shouls ee the record button appear. play the dvd and then just press record when you get to the bit you want to record.

you can use VLC player to record just the part of a film you want. I was also reading Web user nagazine. It was either the last issue or the one before it. There was a free piece of software that lets you just capture a smal part of a DVD.

The majority of the schools in Brighton are using it. We find it highly customisable, great tools and it is suitable for both Primary and Secondary schools. The teachers are able to use the site quickly compared to some others products they have worked with. The features are constantly updated and Univservity hold regional user forums which are free to attend. They have proved very useful, especially when you get to meet teachers from other schools who have some great ideas. The training and support has also been good. Most importantly the kids love it!
