These build fine to CC3 we have used many HP machines and these are just as good as the rest. smart client them takes no time to get up and ready!

A brand new user can log on quite quickly! What would this indicate?

Is there any CC3 tweaks that are not only helpful but but make it seem like you couldnt live with out once you have them. Or just any tweaks that will help really. Please Please PLEASE Share. (running CC3 on 2 Win2k3 Servers - around 150 stations) Thanks Matthew

How can i get the profiles cleaned up any ideas!

We using two Win2k3 servers, in the classrooms with the laptops we have three access points configured with MAC filtering so that theres 10 MACS per AP. The speed of the profiles loading is just a pain sometime even when there cached itll take ages to reload! It varies so much for now apparent reason. We have all the student accounts on the one server. Hope that answers all the questions!

Yes they are roaming profiles. What difference would making student profiles mandatory make. Matthew

Hello, We currently have two class rooms with 30 laptops in each and enough WAPs to provide coverage to a small country! (NO LIE) we have come accross a brilliant solution of getting enough signal for all 30 laptops now. But we are getting slow load times on profiles this is pretty much throughout the school and not a wireless issue but would tie up a few lose ends in that department if you get me. Were using RM (cringe) and I want to know if theres a way to speed up loading times for user profiles. Appreciate anything anyone has to other on this or the wireless class situation. Hi, ok cool so squid will replace both features of the rm smartcache 2. Is there any help i can get with setting up squid as i have tried playing around with squid befor but couldnt get it to go through our ISP's Proxy and so had no connection to the net.

Hello, Our RM SmartCache 2 box has died, and is out of its service agreement. So we would like to setup our own version of one (WebCache/Proxy). Does anybody have any ideas of what the best (Hopefully FREE) alternative is. Thank You
