  2. IT TECHNICIAN 36 hours a week 52 weeks a year (24 days holiday entitlement plus public holidays) Salary: £17,898 We seek a reliable, enthusiastic and well qualified person for this role. You will provide first line support for hardware, software and user issues. Experience with Microsoft Office 2010 & Windows 7 is essential, whilst experience of networking, server operating systems and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or website design is advantageous. We continue to invest heavily in our IT systems and are currently planning a major computer replacement programme, as well as migration to 2012 servers and Office 2013 for our end users. The role of the IT Technician involves supporting the staff and students, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with the school’s IT equipment. It is a varied role, providing plenty of challenges, and a great opportunity to build on experience within a dynamic, forward thinking IT department.
